HTC Legend to be launched by Virgin Canada. Nokia 7230 coming to Bell

Unwired View

Earlier this month, we've heard that Bell plans launch HTC Legend in Canada. While this hasn't happened yet, we're now hearing that Canadian customers will also be able get the Android 2.1 smartphone via Virgin Mobile (currently wholly owned Bell).

Mobile Syrup has screenshot showing that the Legend has already been included Virgin's inventory.

The smartphone's launch date not known at the moment. As its price, the leaked screenshot suggests that the no-contract price will $357 – but that's unlikely, since the Legend sold Europe more than $400.

Back Bell: besides getting HTC Legend, second largest Canadian carrier will also launch a new phone from Nokia – 7230 slider (so this handset passed the FCC North American 3G).

The Nokia 7230 an arguably stylish handset that features 2.4 inch QVGA display, 3G, 3.5mm headset jack, Nokia Maps, 3.2MP camera. Bell will sell the phone starting May 28, for $29.95 with 3-year contract agreement, or $129.99 pre-pay (limited time offer).
