HTC Desire officially hitting U.S. in August

HTC Desire fans rejoice, it was recently announced that handset will officially be hitting U.S. carriers this August. No official release date was announced but HTC assures us that “select regional operators” will definitely have device on hand August.

As a refresher, below are some important specs:

• 3.7-inch AMOLED display
• 1GHz Snapdragon CPU
• 576 MB RAM
• 32GB microSD
• Android 2.1 w/ Sense UI
• 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1
• HSPA/WCDMA/GSM
